Breaking Barriers, Exceeding Limits: The 2nd Non-Invasive Brain Neuromodulation – NIBS Chile 2026 Conference is Here

Rompiendo barreras, superando límites: llega el 2° Encuentro de Neuromodulación Cerebral No Invasiva – NIBS Chile 2026

Non-invasive brain neuromodulation (NIBS) has established itself as one of the most dynamic and promising areas within clinical neuroscience and rehabilitation. In this context of rapid scientific advancement and growing clinical application, NIBS Chile 2026 is presented as a key space for updating knowledge, exchanging experiences, and connecting science and clinical practice.

On January 16 and 17, 2026, Universidad Santo Tomás, Temuco campus, will be the meeting point for health professionals, researchers, and academics interested in understanding and applying the latest evidence in non-invasive brain neuromodulation.

A meeting that unites applied science and clinical practice

Under the motto “Breaking barriers, overcoming limits”, the 2nd NIBS Chile Meeting seeks to go beyond theory. The program includes:

  • Update conferences focusing on recent scientific evidence

  • Practical workshops, aimed at real clinical application

  • Parallel modules, focused on key areas such as:

    • Movement and neurological rehabilitation

    • Cognition

    • Mental health

This format allows each participant to delve into the most relevant areas for their professional practice or research line, fostering active and contextualized learning.

Call for Free Papers: your experience matters too

One of the pillars of the meeting is the Call for Free Papers, which seeks to make visible the work being carried out in different clinical and academic contexts throughout the country.

We will accept:

  • Original research

  • Case reports

  • Clinical experiences in non-invasive brain neuromodulation

As an incentive for participation and the decentralization of knowledge, the 3 best selected papers will receive a travel grant of $120,000, facilitating their in-person participation in the event.

A space to build the future of neuromodulation in Chile

NIBS Chile is not just a conference: it is a growing community that promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and the transfer of knowledge from research to clinical practice.

Participating in this meeting is an opportunity to:

  • Update on non-invasive neuromodulation techniques

  • Learn about real clinical experiences

  • Connect with professionals and researchers in the field

  • Actively contribute to the development of applied neuroscience in Chile
